SETTING UP A FUNDRAISING PAGE FOR DRAGONS ABREAST
Online fundraising is a fast effective way to raise money for Dragons Abreast. After creating a team or individual Fundraising page you can email the link to your friends and family who can simply click to donate and leave a message, they will be immediately receipted by email.
There is no cash, no paperwork no hassles!
TO SET UP YOUR TEAM FUNDRAISING PAGE
Go to the Dragons Abreast Landing Page - http://www.mycause.com.au/mycause/raise_money/event.php?id=175
STEP 1 - REGISTER
Click on 'Start a Team Fundraising Page'
The system will now ask you to register or login
Please enter the information in the fields.
Your username is your email address and you need to create a password (4 digits or letters is fine)
Tick the terms & conditions
Select SUBMIT
OK – now you are registered and you are the team captain
Click on the button ‘Continue to Save your Fundraising Page’ (this button text is wrong it should say ‘Continue to Create your Team’ but it still works)
STEP 2 – CREATE A TEAM
Create your team by completing the form
The password you enter will be sent to all the people that you ask to join your team in future
Select CONTINUE
STEP 3 – CREATE A TEAM FUNDRAISING PAGE
Select 'Create a Team Fundraising Page'
Give your page a title
Enter your message (you can come back and edit later)
Enter your target amount
Select PREVIEW
Select CONTINUE
STEP 4 – EMAIL FRIENDS TO JOIN YOUR TEAM
Email your page to the people you would like to join your team
(TIP You can email it to yourself and forward it from your own Outlook)
STEP 5 – EMAIL FRIENDS TO SPONSOR YOU
You and your team members can login anytime to your own accounts and email the Fundraising Page to your friends and family asking for sponsorship. They can click on the link to sponsor you and leave a message and they will be immediately receipted.

Select 'Start an Individual Fundraising Page'
Give your page a title
Enter your message (you can come back and edit later)
Enter your target amount
Select PREVIEW
